Laser treatment can typically be carried out immediately after the consultation. For smaller beauty spots, pigment spot removal with the laser usually takes just a few minutes.
After Laser Treatment of the Mole
After the treatment, you will be able to resume your daily activities. In some cases, the treated area may be slightly more sensitive for one to two weeks following laser treatment. During this time, avoid exposing the skin to direct sunlight. Additionally, you should refrain from visiting solariums, saunas, and engaging in sports. The treated skin should not come into contact with water for about three days, and it should be cleaned with alcohol-free disinfectants. It is advisable to treat the area with Bepanthen to support healing.

The Risks
The laser procedure is generally very low-risk. However, in rare cases, minor scarring may occur in the treated area. The healing process can be accelerated using PRP therapy. After mole removal, it is also advisable to continue monitoring the area as if the pigments were still present during skin cancer screenings. This is because the skin remains susceptible to negative developments even after the pigmentation has been aesthetically treated.
