Blood Collection and Plasma Extraction

Once the consultation is complete, the required amount of blood is taken to obtain the platelet-rich plasma. The collected blood is then processed using our centrifuge to isolate the PRP from the other blood components.

PRP Injection

Immediately after processing, the plasma is injected under the skin using very fine needles. The procedure is generally not painful, though mild painkillers or an anaesthetic cream can be used if needed.

Rest After the Treatment

Swelling and redness may appear on the face after the treatment, but these effects usually subside within two to three days. Apart from this, you can return to your daily activities immediately after the procedure. A typical PRP treatment consists of two to three sessions. The exact number of sessions will be determined during the initial consultation. Aftercare and Healing

As PRP treatment uses only autologous blood, the procedure generally has few side effects. However, any swelling in the face from the injections can last two to three days. Applying cooling measures and aloe vera gel can help reduce swelling. Conversely, cosmetic treatments, hot baths, sunbeds, and saunas should be avoided during this time. Sun exposure should be avoided for approximately two weeks to allow the skin to fully regenerate.

How Long Do the Results Last?

The results of PRP treatment are visible for several months. After that, the effects gradually diminish, but the treatment can be repeated as often as necessary. Regular refresher treatments can lead to significant long-term improvements in skin structure through collagen formation.

Possible Risks of PRP Treatment

PRP therapy is generally very low-risk, as only the body's own plasma is used. However, redness and swelling may occur in the treated area for two to three days. Many patients prefer to avoid social interactions during this period.
